Luke Farley to replace Senator Thom Tillis?

North Carolina's Commissioner of Labor Luke Farley has announced that he will assist in the search for a replacement for Senator Thom Tills, who announced that he will not seek re-election next year.
Tillis' announcement came shortly after President Trump eviscerated him during a lengthy post, on Truth Social, because of Tillis' refusal to support the president's "Big Beautiful Bill."
Tillis's lack of support required Vice-President J.D. Vance to break the tie in the Senate.
"Looks like Senator Thom Tillis, as usual, wants to tell the nation that he's giving them a 68% tax increase as opposed to the biggest tax cut in American history...Senator Tillis is making a big mistake for America and the wonderful people of North Carolina," President Trump posted.
Luke Farley, along with Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler, and State Treasurer Brad Briner each received about 2.9 million votes in 2024.

Why We Fight —
For the 10th District of North Carolina
Here in North Carolina’s 10th District, we don’t take freedom for granted. From the foothills of the Blue Ridge to the hardworking towns that keep this state running, our values are clear: Faith in God. Love of Country. Defense of Freedom.
But every day, we see what’s at stake — as far-left policies from Washington and Raleigh creep into our communities. Crime, chaos, open borders, and the erosion of traditional values — the radical Left circles like sharks, eager to sink their teeth into everything we hold dear.
On this Fourth of July, we pause. We reflect. We remember. And we thank God that we still live in a country — and a district — where patriots stand ready to defend liberty.
So enjoy this day with your family. Take in the fireworks. Look out at the hills and valleys of Western North Carolina and know this: Our fight is righteous. Our cause is just. And our future is worth defending.
Let’s return from this holiday renewed, inspired, and ready to keep North Carolina’s 10th District free — for our children, our grandchildren, and generations to come.
Faith. Family. Freedom.
God Bless America — and God Bless the 10th District.
